The Laboratory of Genetic Technologies is an innovative facility for the development of advanced genetic technologies.
The aim of the laboratory is to ensure the implementation of the program “Genetic and epigenetic editing of tumor cells and microenvironment to block metastasis”.

Main areas:

• Epigenetic reprogramming of macrophages;
• Development of diagnostic test systems for drugs that block the transition of micrometastases to macrometastases;
• Development of in vitro technology for testing the effectiveness of drugs to inhibit the dedifferentiation of tumor cells;
• Development of technology for assessing the ability of the primary tumor to metastasize and assessing the genetic effectiveness of preoperative therapy;
• Development and testing of gene therapy drugs based on genetically modified microorganisms to stimulate systemic antimetastatic immunity;
• Creation of genetically engineered microRNA constructs to block the metastatic potential of cancer cells;
• Spatial profiling of the genome and transcriptome in situ using NanoString technology.
